1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CASParser API, website, or any associated services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
CASParser provides an API platform for parsing Indian financial portfolio documents - including CAS (Consolidated Account Statement) PDFs from CDSL, NSDL, CAMS, and KFintech - into structured data. Services include the CAS Parser API, Portfolio Connect SDK, Gmail Inbox Integration, CAS Generator, CDSL OTP Fetch, and Contract Note Parser.
3. Account & API Keys
You must register for an account to access the API. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and access tokens. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share API keys publicly or expose them in client-side code.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload tampered, modified, or fraudulent documents
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures
- Exceed your plan's credit limits without authorization
- Use the Services for any illegal activity
- Resell or redistribute the Services without written permission
5. Data Handling
CASParser does not store parsed data after processing. Uploaded documents are processed in memory and discarded after the API response is returned. Only usage metadata (credits consumed, timestamps) is retained. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Credits & Billing
API usage is measured in credits. Different operations consume different credit amounts. Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
7. Service Level
CASParser targets 99.9% uptime for the API. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure events or third-party service failures.
8. Limitation of Liability
CASParser extracts data verbatim from documents. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the source documents. CASParser is not liable for investment decisions made based on extracted data. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated.
